See if we should work together

Claire Profile Photo

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT131627) who offers support to adults, couples, and families from a wide range of cultural and social identities.

In my therapeutic approach, I strive to provide an atmosphere in which you can safely bring down your walls and be held in your authenticity. Through uncovering fears, trauma stories, and intergenerational legacies we shed light on parts of the self that have been deemed unworthy and unlovable. The aim of our work together is to co-create a safe space so that integration and compassion for the whole self is possible.

I have an open and creative style that is influenced by my passion and experience with the arts, meditation practices, and the natural world. My approach is informed by feminist and attachment theories and incorporates parts work from Internal Family Systems when applicable. My work is collaborative and patient-centered, emphasizing agency and consent in nurturing a therapeutic bond.

I have additional training in expressive arts therapy and the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy to support diverse client needs. I have a particular interest in psychedelic integration work, as well as weaving in nature-based and expressive arts practices to facilitate the therapeutic process.

My credentials

  • Expressive Arts Therapy, Level 2 Certified - Tamalpa Institute & Antioch University
Expressive arts therapy is a multidisciplinary framework that utilizes movement/dance, drawing, and creative writing as vehicles for healing and change. This approach harnesses the therapeutic potential in the process of creating art through metaphor and meaning-making. The artistic process and mediums used allow us to explore and deepen our relationship to stories beyond the verbal realm. Through decentering psychological material, we have an opportunity to gain insight in new and creative ways.

Who I work with

I have experience and enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples, including students, artists, entertainment industry folks, and the LGBTQ+ population. I am also passionate about providing neurodivergent, kink, and ethically non-monogamous affirming care. Furthermore, as a first-generation American, I enjoy working with those grappling with immigration, identity, and belonging.
