Associate Marriage and Family Therapist • Associate Professional Clinical Counselor

I’m Bryan Robertson, and I believe that therapy should be a place where you can finally put the heavy burdens down. I work with individuals and couples who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in cycles they can't seem to break. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor my priority is to create a deeply safe space that honors all the unique parts of who you are. I am LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming, culturally integrative, and trauma-informed, which is how I see the whole picture of your life, including your family history, your culture, and how the world around you (systems of oppression) impact your health. Whether you're turning to substance use to cope with intense sadness or panic, trying to heal from a difficult past, or just feel a nagging sense that your life isn't quite aligned with your values, I'm here to meet you exactly where you are with genuine empathy.

We won't just scratch the surface; we'll work together to understand the root of your distress so you can experience real, lasting healing. I bring helpful tools into our sessions: Internal Family Systems (IFS) to get to know and soothe the different "parts" inside you that might be driving anxiety or fear, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you process and truly move past those big, painful emotions. I'm focused on helping you navigate the relationships in your life, helping you build a supportive network, and step fully into your most authentic self. My goal is to equip you with the understanding and skills you need to break free from old patterns and start building the meaningful, joyful life you deserve.

Research shows that the relationship you have with your therapist is the most important factor for successful outcomes. Let’s get started with a free consultation to explore if I’m the best fit for you.
